Junior Hoopers – Learn to Play 

Come learn the game of basketball in a fun environment. This 7 week-long program will consist of games and skill work that focuses on developing and improving players’ IQ and overall skill. Skill work will include the fundamentals of dribbling, passing, and shooting. This clinic is geared towards players who are looking to build their passion for the game and teaching players how to play basketball the right way. This is a great way to focus on the fundamentals of basketball and fine tune their skills while having fun through drills, competitions, and game play. Groups will be split K-2 & 3-4.

Beginner Basketball Academy

New to the game of basketball? This 7 week program will consist of games and skill work that will gauge your beginner’s interest in basketball. We will focus on introductory skills and learning the game. Skill work will involve the fundamentals of dribbling, passing, and shooting while incorporating teamwork and sportsmanship. Players will be split into groups by age/skill level playing small games of 2v2 and 3v3 and be given a T-shirt!

Little Hoopers

This Starland program teaches the basics of basketball in an exciting, fun, and safe learning environment. This is an introductory class where players will be taught fundamental basketball skills as well as participating in fun games using the skills we learn. This is a great program for any child wanting to get starting in basketball and fall in love with the game!

Area focused on: gross motor skills, dribbling, pivoting, positioning, passing, and overall team play. This class will be 30 minutes long followed by 15 minutes of toddler time!

Friday Night Lights – Skills & Drills

Friday Night Lights is a weekly drop-in clinic presented by Level Up Hoops that will focus on a different aspect of the game each week including ball-handling, shooting, footwork, post-play, attacking and finishing at the basket, defense and more.

This clinic runs for 8 weeks for 60 minutes and is open to all skill levels, boys and girls. All players will be grouped by age and skill level. Players can choose to join for the 8-week clinic for $225 or pay $30 per session. Advanced registration is required.

Skills Week with Coach Crawford

This week-long, skill-based clinic will focus on improving and bolstering players’ basketball technique with Coach Crawford! Coach Crawford is the program director for Level Up Hoops, the assistant coach for Quincy College Basketball, the head coach for the 16U ZGXL Level Up Hoops team, and a personal skills trainer for some of the best players on the South Shore of Massachusetts and beyond. He has worked with countless of college players on their development and has a wide array of knowledge and expertise to teach young basketball players in this clinic.

Starland Summer League (Largest Summer League on the South Shore!)

Join the largest Summer basketball league on the South Shore and enjoy playing in an air-conditioned facility this upcoming season! After the game, enjoy a drink or some food at our new restaurant/bar, hang out at the outdoor amusement park, or have fun with our indoor attractions – there is something for everyone!

Each game will consist of 10-minute quarters (6th grade – Varsity) or 20-minute halves (3rd – 5th Grade) with running time. One parent from each team will be required to operate the scoreboard and fill out the scoresheet. Each game will have two certified IAABO officials. Game days are Sunday – Thursday, and games will start 4:30pm-10pm Monday – Thursday and 10am-8pm Sundays.

Teams are scheduled to play eight games with additional playoff games. Games consist of 10 minutes quarters with running time. Two certified IAABO officials and a scorekeeper will be supplied for each game. Games begin at 9 or 9:50 PM, and most games will be played on Wednesday night. Reminder, this is the recreational league; our competitive league is on Thursday nights. ***CANCELED/FORFEITED GAMES ARE NOT RESCHEDULED***
